It is unusual to fall prey to a scam. At least for those of you that follow clear, simple and common sense advice. Although rare, it can happen to you.
The escort services you are looking for are pretty much like most others in the service industries.
However, the need for discretion and privacy is paramount. This creates an opportunity for unscrupulous people to prey on unsuspecting guys.
From our research and experience we can offer you a quick insight into escort scams. You can read more about escort scams here.

1. Be Careful When Escorts Ask For Deposits
When an escort requests a deposit, this is a classic opportunity for an escort to scam you. The number of escorts that require a deposit are low. However, there ARE genuine escorts that do ask for a deposit. So, do be aware of that.
Some escorts will ask for a deposit because they have experienced too many punters not showing up to booked appointments. Another reason might be that they have experienced a lot punters cancelling at the very last minute. If that is you, then you need to make sure to call and cancel an appointment as soon as you know you cannot make it. You are booking time and the escort has set that aside for you. There is a cost to her if you miss, cancel or fail to show up.
If your escort has asked for a deposit then you should ask her why and if it is her usual way of doing business. If this is the norm for her, then check out reviews before parting with any cash. If you are still uncomfortable, walk away.
Now, even for escorts that do not normally ask for deposits, this may be different if you have requested an overnight booking, an overseas trip or some other meeting that might be deemed out of the ordinary.
When booking escorts through an Escort Agency, you may also encounter a request for a deposit. This may not be out of the ordinary for that agency. Do check to make sure it is an established agency first.
2. Your Escorts Profile Photo Looks Like its from a Movie
If the escort you are about to call has a profile photo that looks like a shot from a porno, you may be in trouble. There are agencies and independents out there that take photos from a number of other sites including:
- Tube sites
- Dating sites
- WebCam sites
If she looks to good to be true, she normally is! At UK Adult Zone, we do our best to monitor profiles for fake pictures.
When you see a fake photo, you won’t know what escort you will see until you meet her. That is if one actually turns up.
One way to spot a fake photo is to use Google Image Search or you can use Tineye. If you are suspicious, then check them out before you contact her. If the photo is fake, you don’t need us to tell you there could be trouble ahead. At least a very poor escort encounter.
3. She is Not Who You Booked
If you turn up and the escort who answers the door is not the one you thought you had booked, this could be a scam.
This is what might be called a “bait and switch” scam.
The idea is that you are baited by a super sexy photo to meet an escort who might be something less exotic. The result of this scam is not as serious as with others. You get to know before you part with your hard earned cash.
This scam relies on you having made the effort to get there and thinking it’s not worth turning back. If you turn up super horny and you’ve made the excuses and taken the journey, you will probably go for it.
If you do, then good luck. Try to reset your expectations before you begin. If necessary, reset your service requirements. Perhaps opt for a shorter time than originally booked.
4. She Has to Pay the Taxi – With Your Money!
Get ready to say goodbye to your hard earned cash. This scam relied on you being put on the spot, your generosity and your horny disposition.
When your escort tells you she needs to pay the taxi after she takes your payment, you perhaps should follow her down the stairs.
5. Her Partner Calls to Say He’s Coming Home Early
This is another scam that uses your fear of the unknown to rush you out of the house without refund.
Imagine you are about to get things started with your escort. Seriously, you will only ever get to this point. Then the phone rings. She answers it (that is a bad sign right there). She rushes off the phone to tell you her partner is on his way back. She is so sorry and you scarper. Perhaps she ever tells you to wait around the corner.
However this plays out, if you have paid her. The games is over.
The reality is that there may not be a partner. If there is, do you really want to meet him? Here is where the fear factor comes into play. The scammers are forewarned and prepared. Who is to know if there would be more than one returning. You might think, let’s have him! But it’s not worth the risk. There could be one, two or several guys coming back.
You put this one down to bad luck and get the hell out of there.
Whatever happens do your escort research before you meet with your next date.
